Well, it doesnt look good for the future of Arena Football as the L.A. Avengers just folded as of 4-19-09. I am bummed as I was a big Arena Football fan, it was cheap and it was fun…..So long AFL!

Adios Avengers!...You gave us some great games!

Well, we have to leave in the morning….I will post this video of Matt skating….I have a bunch more stuff I will post after we get home! oh yea we had a nice dinner at Gene and Georgettis tonight…its a classic Chicago steak place…
Steve and Gary (Chicago foodies and LTH forum members) picked Matt and I up and showed us some killer food…I think the Italian Beef at Al’s was a true masterpiece! We had great BBQ and a really good, cheap hot dog…

Its midnight, we just got back from the game! It was a blast…Soldier Field is really cool…it looks like a spaceship in side….We had great seats and went with my buddy Lou and his son Louie! I will post a few pics for now, then do more later as I am tired!
Bears won in OT!

We had lunch on the 95th floor with my old Army buddy Tim Messman who lives here in Chicago…the view is really cool and if you eat you dont have to pay to get up top!
Matt thought it was pretty neat, oh yea we also went to a kind of verticle mall that was 10 stories tall called the water tower plaza. We are going to the Bears game in a few hours but are going to hit the hotel pool now (indoor of course)
Well we left Green Bay and flew to Chicago . We walked around Navy Pier a bit and had a really bad hot dog. I was picked up by Mike who runs Hungry a cool foodie mag/site and we met up with Louisa Chu ( a foodie/chef /tv host) and the rest of the Chicago foodie crew at a great place called Burts Pizza…it was really cool, funky with old radios and nick nacks. It was run by a really nice old couple. We had some great pies and laughs….Matt ate a habanero pepper and then proceeded to squirm in pain for about 15 min from the heat…thhen it was off to the strangest ice cream place…it was decorated with skeletons, skulls and other cool stuff…I guess they change it a few times a year….the ice cream was good….back to the hotel and another day in the morning….gonna tailgate at the Bears game and have lunch with my old Army buddy Tim Messman at the Hancock tower!
